Spider Solitaire: how a round works
For a calm first round, focus on one decision. Complete eight same-suit king-to-ace runs. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Check the relevant controls before continuing. Keep the active rule in mind. Build down by rank. Only descending same-suit groups move together. Empty columns accept any movable group. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
Two decks, one/two/four suits; fill every column before a ten-card stock deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
Practice with a purpose
Work at your own pace. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot. Use another round to revisit a decision.
